On a prominent position in the middle of a N-S running ridge, in good grassland. There is good visibility in all directions. A circular, raised platform (max. diam. c. 39m) with a slight bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 1.5-2.5m) around the top of the perimeter, enclosed by a wide, deep fosse (Wth 6m; D 1.5m) with outer bank (Wth 4m; ext. H 1.5m). The outer bank is incorporated into a field fence to the N. The interior dips towards the centre which possibly indicates scarping to create the bank.
