Discovered in Derryville bog in 2006 during a fieldwalking survey of the Bord na Móna industrial peatlands in the Littleton group of bogs (Licence nos. 06E0696-06E0706). A plank fragment (L 0.7m; Wth 0.3m) orientated NW-SE and in a poor state of preservation visible on the field surface. Adajcent to the N were 6 parallel brushwood and roundwood elements (diams. 0.04-0.07m) which were better preserved as they were located 0.25m below the field surface. A date of 2470-2140 BC was obtained. (Whitaker 2007, Catalogue no. KKDVE003)
