Discovered in Derryville bog in 2006 during a fieldwalking survey of the Bord na Móna industrial peatlands in the Littleton group of bogs (Licence nos. 06E0696-06E0706). A single roundwood (L 0.45m; diam. 0.08m), orientated E-W, located on the field surface. It was moderately preserved and was later identified as hazel. A date of 1310-910 BC was obtained.
