Both fulacht fia (dims. 2m x 1.5m; H 0.3m) are similar in shape and size and have a central depression (dims. 1.5m x 0.75m). The mound is composed of burnt stone and ash. The area surrounding these monuments was forested in 1988, however, a clearing with a buffer zone of c. 10m was left around the fulachta fia.
