Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 161), referring to the townland Firoda Lower, otherwise Glenmagoo, states that, ‘Among the sub-divisions of “Glanmoygowe alias Moygowe,” given in a document of 1621, is mentioned “Killine-Muygowgh,” that is, the Killeen, or Little Church, of Moygowe. It is evident from this that an ancient church stood in the townland. No trace of such now remains, however; nor is there any tradition as to its whereabouts’. The precise location of the church within the townland is unknown.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
