On the brow of a precipitous W-facing slope, with panoramic views from SW-W-NW. A circular area (diam. 30m) covered in dense overgrowth, enclosed by a substantial earth and stone bank (ext. H 1.35m, Wth 4m), fosse (Wth 2.5m) and outer bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H c. 0.6m). The outer bank encloses the fosse except from SW-W where the bank has been levelled and the fosse infilled. The monument is heavily overgrown with hawthorn, beech and ivy. A field boundary runs roughly ENE-WSW into the E quadrant and another runs roughly E-W into the W quadrant.
