In flat undulating lowland, in pasture. A sub-rectangular enclosure (dim. c. 45-50m N-S; c. 50m E-W) identified by geophysics (Nicholls 2017 unpublished Geophysical report; Deery and Crowley 2017 unpublished EIS) carried out in advance of a proposed solar farm. One of a number of enclosures (KK004-043----; KK004-044----; KK004-045----; KK004-047----; KK004-049----; KK004-050----; KK004-051----; KK004-052-; KK004-053---- and KK004-054----) identified in the vicinity by geophysics. This enclosure or annexe, with rounded corners, adjoins a large sub-circular enclosure (KK004-047----) to the N. A field boundary, which appears contemporary, runs south-eastward from the SE sector of the sub-circular enclosure and another runs S from the SW angle of the annexe. The monument is not visible at ground level.
