On steep SW slopes of a small stream valley, in rolling pasture. Good views along valley to NE and SW and across narrow valley to NE. A slightly raised rectangular area (max. dims. 34m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H c. 1m) with a high stone content and a broad external fosse (Wth c. 1.5m; D 0.2-0.8m). There are a number of cattle gaps through the bank but no recognisable original entrance.
