In rough pasture, on the lower NW-facing slopes of Derryclancy Mountain. An oval enclosure (dims. c. 90m E-W; c. 65m N-S) is visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP, V 133-4), taken in 1973. The enclosure is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
