A heavily overgrown raised circular area (22.4m N-S; 21.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6.15m; int. H 1.05m, ext. H 2.7m) ESE-NNE and by a scarp NNE-ESE. An external fosse (Wth 2.1m; max. There is a possible entrance along the NE arc where a break occurs in the bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
