In rough level pasture, flanked to the N and S by NW-flowing streams, at the foot of the N-facing slopes of Knockeirky. A kidney-shaped grass-covered mound (6m E-W; 5.6m N-S; H 0.75m) of burnt material with a slight indentation along its W side. Exposed burnt material is visible beside the S stream. There is a small boulder at the N tip of the mound beside the N stream. An enclosure (KE109-0075001-) lies c. 25m to the NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
