In rough pasture, on a level break on a S-facing slope, to the N of the Glanrastel River. A circular area (diam. 8.3m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.7m). Large lower course stones protrude above the bog and are partly grass covered. Rubble is scattered along the perimeter and on the downslope to the S. Large quantities of charcoal are visible in rabbit burrows in the interior. The enclosure appears to have been used in more recent times by charcoal burners who supplied charcoal to the nearby ironworks (KE108-076----) at Lauragh in the 17th/18th century.
