In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of an oval hut site (2.3m E-W; 1.7m N-S) defined by a drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.1-0.4m). Only the tops of the lower course stones, which protrude above the blanket bog, are visible. Blanket bog covers the W wall. There is another hut site (KE109-048001-) 35m to the SE and relict field boundaries (KE109-048008-) are 18m to the NW.
