In undulating pasture, near the S bank of the Glanrastel River. The cropmark of an oval enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 25m E-W) is visible on an aerial photograph (ACAP, V 164/67-68) taken in 1949. This enclosure is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
