In rough hill pasture, on a terrace on a NW-facing slope, overlooking Kenmare Bay. The remains of a rectangular hut site (4.7m NW-SE; 1.9m NE-SW) defined by a partially collapsed, grass-covered wall (T 0.75m; H 0.8m) of stone and clay mortar at SE, SW and NW. The NE wall (T 1.2m; H 0.8m) is shared with another hut site (KE109-001028-) which adjoins it at NE. Rubble is scattered in the interior. There is an enclosure (KE109-001003-) c. 14m to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
