This circular enclosure, named 'Caher' on the OS Fair Plan, is located in rough pasture in a crook of the Gowlane river. It is poorly preserved and is covered with a dense layer of vegetation. Its enclosing wall survives to an average height of 1.65m, and consists of a rubble core faced internally and externally with drystone masonry. Larger boulders occur in its lower courses, which feature a slight batter. There is much collapse along the NW sector, where the entrance may have been located. Four field walls radiate out from the site, and no features were discerned in its overgrown interior.
