Cahereernark/Cathair Uí Ruairc: This possible caher is marked 'site of' on the second edition of the OS map. It survives as a subcircular overgrown bank which features large boulders in its basal construction and is otherwise composed of earth and small stones. The bank averages 1.3m wide, has a maximum internal height of 1m at NW and a maximum external height of 2.9m at S, where this is exaggerated by the slope of the land. A 2m wide gap at SE may mark the location of the original entrance. A large slab, .65m high x 1.35m wide, stands on edge on its W side. A small cairn of stones abuts the bank externally at SE. The centre of the site is traversed by a NNW-SSE field wall.
