It was located close to the oratory (KE104A001040-) on the upper terrace (KE104A001105-). The shaft of this small stone cross (L 0.33m x Wth 0.27m x T 0.04m) is broken off just below its well-defined short arms (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 289, no. 948 (73)). This cross has been allocated the SMR number KE066-217---- at its present location in the OPW, National Monuments Depot, Killarney.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 948. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
