In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of the Coomeelan stream. The remains of stone walls (T 0.7m; H 0.4m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog in an area measuring c. 150m N-S x 150m E-W. Two fulachtaí fia (KE103-049001-, KE103-049003-) and one possible fulacht fia (KE103-049004-) are within this network of field walls. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
