What is recorded here

Within a field system (KE103-020001-). The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.7m N-S; 3m E-W) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) which is best preserved at S, W and N. The lower courses of the wall protrude above the surface of the bog. A boulder (H 0.4m) is incorporated into the wall at N. There is another hut site (KE103-020011-) c. 25m to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
