What is recorded here

Within a field system (KE103-020001-). The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.7m N-S; 1.6m E-W) defined by a roughly constructed drystone wall (T 0.55m; H 0.6m) which is partially collapsed. The lower courses of the wall are grass covered. There is an enclosure (KE103-020002-) c. 40m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
