What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, on a saddle between Knockboy and Knocknamanagh. A curvilinear stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) protrudes above the surface of the bog (D c. 0.5m), extends to the S along the W side of the saddle for a distance of c. 90m, then turns to the W and continues down the steep slope for a short distance. An enclosure (KE103-018004-) and two hut sites (KE103-018001-, KE103-018003-) adjoin the E side of the field wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
