In pasture, on a W-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A two-storey vernacular house with the front (E-facing) of three bays with a central door. Sheet glass sash windows; opes on first floor are very close to eaves and are smaller than those on ground floor. Gable-ended with a galvinised roof. Originally had a chimney on each gable but that at N has been removed. Internally the house retains its original layout; kitchen, with open fireplace and settle, to left of front door. Outhouses adjoining each gable end.
