What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, on a rocky SW-facing slope, in the valley of the Dromoghty River. A horseshoe-shaped mound (8.8m E-W; 5.6m N-S; H 0.9m) of burnt material protrudes above the surface of the bog. The opening (Wth 1.6m) faces a stream to the NNE. Relict field boundaries (KE102-093001-) lie c. 70m to the SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
