B. Ó Cíobháin recorded 'a gallán' in this townland which was 'not standing straight…but high' and was 'blasted since' (SMR file). The precise location of this stone is not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
