In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A D-shaped area (3.4m SE-NW), with a straight SE side (L 5.8m), defined by partially collapsed roughly constructed drystone wall (T 0.4m; H 1.1m). The linear side is incorporated into a field boundary. The interior is obscured by ferns. There is another enclosure (KE102-017001-) c. 20m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
