In rough hill grazing, on bog on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of Lough Inchiquin. A roughly circular sod-covered mound of stones (diam. 4.5m; H 0.55m) with gorse bushes on its summit. The stones which comprise the cairn are of various shapes and sizes. A wedge tomb (KE101-069001) and an adjacent cist (KE101-069002-) lie c. 60m to NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
