In rough hill pasture and cutaway bog, on a NE-facing slope, overlooking the valley of Lough Inchiquin. An E-W section of wall extends for c. 35m to the W, turns to the NW for c. 10m, then veers c. 30m to the NNW and continues to the NW for a distance of c. 45m where it runs into bog. Where the bog is cut the exposed larger stones at the base of the wall are embedded in thin peat and clay soil. Some stones are set upright and at right angles to the line of the wall.
