What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, on a break of a NW-facing slope. The remains of an oval hut site (5.4m N-S; 4m E-W) defined by a grass-covered wall (T 0.65m) SW-NE. The hut site is barely traceable on the upslope NE-SW. The NW portion of the interior is raised (H 0.55m) to compensate for the hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
