In rough hill pasture, on the NE bank of a river and adjacent to the ESE side of a fulacht fia (KE101-054002-). A roughly heart-shaped mound (5.5m NE-SW; 5m NW-SE; H 0.5m) of burnt material with a flat top and scarped edges. A shallow opening occurs in the SW side, facing on to the river. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
