In rough hill pasture, on an E-facing slope, commanding extensive views over Kenmare Bay and valley of the Dromoghty River and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE101-015001-). This standing stone (1.25m x 0.28m; H 1.15m), set in bog (D 0.3m), is subrectangular in plan and section and is orientated NE-SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
