Situated in level pasture, close to the edge of a low cliff on the E shore of Ballinskelligs Bay, this site comprises three standing stones disposed in a triangular arrangement with the largest stone at SW. The latter stands 2.9m high and measures 1.5m x .2m at base; NE-SW. Similarly orientated, and set 2.1m to the E, is the smallest stone which stands 1.4m high and measures 1m x .25m at base. The third stone, 2.75m N of the last, measures 2.15m x 1.4m x .3m; N-S. Packing stones protrude around the bases of each of the stones (Ó Nualláin 1984a, 72). This site is marked ‘Gallauns’ on the OS maps.
