What is recorded here

Located 29m NNE of hut KE098-039024-, on the N shore of the island, are the foundations of a long rectangular house with opposing entrances in its side-walls. The foundations of a roughly square annex abut the NE side-wall, and both the house and the annex overlie the causeway. The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 974. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 18 June 2013
