This poorly preserved, oval-shaped enclosure is located in rough pasture on a steep SE facing slope which overlooks Lough Currane to S. Marked as a circular enclosure on the first edition of the OS map, it measures 40m NE-SW x 29.5m NW-SE in overall diameter. The inner flank of the enclosing element is faced with large boulders and some small stone; its core and outer face are obscured beneath the sod-cover. The bank has an internal height of .75m at NW. The interior of the site, though densely overgrown in places, appears to be featureless.
