On a S-facing slope overlooking the Roughty River c. 1km W of Kilgarvan. A two-storey glebe house over a basement which is exposed as a third storey at the rear. The front is of three bays with a central two-storey gabled projection of one bay. The window opes on the ground floor have been enlarged. The side elevations are one bay deep. The rear is of three bays with a recent flat-roofed extension. The hipped roof has two long off-centre chimneys. There is an enclosed stable yard to the rear. The house is said to have been built as a rectory in 1815 (Bary 1994, 208-9).
