In woodland, straddling the N end of a flat-topped ridge, c. 400m SSW of the confluence of the Slaheny and Roughty Rivers. An overgrown circular area (34m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by the faint remains of an earthen bank (int. H 0.15m) SSE-SW and by a scarp (H 2.2m) SW-SSE. An external fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 0.4m) is evident SE-NW. There is a causeway entrance at S. An E-W earthen field boundary crosses the N sector of the interior while a N-S field boundary crosses the E sector. Another N-S field boundary is immediately W of the fosse.
