At E side of road leading S from Kenmare town. Abandoned one-storey rectangular structure with front (W) of five bays; central door flanked on either side by two diamond-pane windows. Hipped roof with chimney slightly off-centre to right. Side elevation of one bay. Rear of three bays with flat-roofed extension masking right bay. Two one-storey outhouses to rear. Indicated but not named on 1846 OS 6-inch map. It is believed locally that the composer Thomas Moore once stayed here.
