In rough pasture, on a level break in a S-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River to the SW and W. A stretch of a N-S relict field wall (Wth 0.5m; H c. 0.2m) protrudes above the surface of the bog (D 0.4m) and meanders upslope for c. 90m. Sections of the wall disappear beneath the surface where the peat is deeper.
