Discovered during survey and monitoring works at a nearby souterrain (KE092-011002-). Located c. 6m southeast of a Children's Burial Ground (KE092-011----). A small stream, flowing in a NE-SW direction, is c. 4m to the east. A spread of charcoal-enriched silt and burnt stones c. 20cm above subsoil level extends for c. 11m in a 2m wide trench. A possible trough is indicated by the presence of several large compressed stones at the eastern edge of the spread. The trench was subsequently backfilled under archaeological supervision.
