This record was formerly listed as a Barrow - Group in the SMR (1990). However, following a site inspection by the South-west Kerry Archaeological Survey (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996) and according to their files, these features, although similar in morphology to ring-barrows, are fionnán enclosures.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
