What is recorded here

On rough hill grazing on bog on a NE-SW ridge overlooking Kenmare Bay and the Beara Peninsula. The remains of several short stretches of relict field walls (L 7-25m; T 0.8m; H 0.5m) protrude above the surface of bog in a roughly rectangular area (c. 85m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW). (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 388, no. 1134) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
