In pasture, on a terrace on the lower S-facing slopes of Foilclogh, with views SW to the River Inny estuary and Ballinskelligs Bay. An arc of an earthen bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.4m) WSW-WNW indicates the remains of a rath shown as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. Intermittent traces of a largely eroded bank extend for c. 5m beyond each end of the arc. The rath is indicated on the 1895-6 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular raised area (diam. c. 20m), with a NE-SW field boundary crossing the interior off-centre to the SE. There is a hut site (KE089-012----) in the NW quadrant and a souterrain (KE089-012001-) in the W half.
