Situated on the lower S facing slopes of Kilkeaveragh mountain, this standing stone is located in good pastureland that overlooks St Finan's Bay to SW. It measures 1m x .2m at base, and its longer axis lies E-W. Of regular rectangular elevation, it stands 1.15m high and is referred to by Henry as a 'gallaun' (1957, 106) though it is not marked on the OS maps. A small terraced area occurs 2.5m N of the stone, revetted on its S side by a 3m stretch of drystone walling.
