What is recorded here

B. O'Ciobháin recorded the placename 'Pollín fé thalamh' in this townland. While there is a possibility that the placename implies the existence of a souterrain, there is no local knowledge of any souterrain and the precise location of the 'Pollín fé thalamh' could not be found. Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork. Date of upload: 30 May 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
