In pasture, on the NW bank of a stream, on a SW-facing slope. A spread (1.4m E-W; 1.2m N-S) of burnt material which, according to local information, resulted from the levelling of a large mound during land drainage works. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
