In rough hill pasture, 8m S of a stream, on the SE-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. A horseshoe-shaped mound (10.2m N-S; 8.7m E-W; H 1.1m) of burnt material with the opening facing W. There is another fulacht fia (KE085-002004-) 50m to the W and a hut site (KE085-002001-) and a relict field boundary (KE085-002002-) to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
