In rough hill grazing, on bog on the SW-facing slopes of Mangerton Mountain. A grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound (10.3m E-W; 6.8m N-S; H 1.8m) of burnt material with its opening (4.5m N-S; 3m E-W) facing S. Burnt material is exposed along the base of the mound at N and NW. Another fulacht fia (KE084-042----) lies c. 40m to the ESE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
