In rough pasture, on a peat-covered hillock overlooking the headwaters of Kenmare Bay. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 5.2m) defined by a bank (Wth 0.75m; H 0.35m) of earth and stones which protrudes above the surface of the bog. There is a souterrain (KE084-073002-) c. 2m to the N and a relict field boundary (KE084-073003-) c. 16m to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
