Within a field system (KE083-023002-) in rough hill grazing on a terrace on the S-facing slopes of Knockleama with views across the valley of the Blackwater River to Kenmare Bay. A circular area (diam. 8m) defined by large contiguous stone slabs (T 0.5m; H 0.8m), some of which are leaning or have fallen. The level interior is obscured by rushes and has been raised (H 0.8m) at S and cut into the upslope (D 0.6m) at N to compensate for the hillslope. An enclosure (KE083-023020-) is c. 15m to the SSW.
