Rock art in Shronahiree More

Located at the mouth of the Bridia valley, on a small hillock surrounded by bog, this section of rock outcrop, measuring 2.95m x 1.9m, is decorated at its W end by three annular rings, two of which feature a radial line. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Not located. According to O’Sullivan & Sheehan (1996, 106), ‘this section of rock outcrop, measuring 2.95m x 1.9m, is decorated at its W end by three annular rings, two of which feature a radial line’. A low hillock, covered in furze is to E of supposed location; No stones matching the earlier survey description were seen. A description in the SMR file indicates slightly different dimensions for this rock art site (2.50m x 1.80m x 0.50m). This low profile stone could potentially be covered with vegetation or the location co-ordinate is inaccurate.
